-
- I have tried adding a Quit menu to the Finder and installing Quit Finder
- and Start Finder FKeys but I have found the easiest and cleanest approach
- is to use the application Anti-Finder. It is no longer in the archives, so
- a resubmission follows.
-
- To rebuild a System 7 DeskTop without restarting, you would launch
- Anti-Finder (which will quit Finder), then hold down the Command and
- Option keys while selecting Quit in Anti-Finder (this will restart Finder
- and ask if you want to rebuild the DeskTop).
-
- Here is Anti-Finder 1.0.1. Anti-Finder is a teeny-weeny application that
- causes the Finder to quit when you run it, and restarts the Finder when
- you quit it.
-
- System 7.0 or greater and also free.
